Cry baby, cry

Today marks the second day of FSP '10 final exams. Had my first paper today. Maths. Wasn't very happy with my performance, I'd say. Gah. Probably made silly mistakes again. Will say no more. Gotta concentrate on my other papers (Chem, Eng, Bio & Aus Studies). One more week to go, graduating on the 5th and that will be the end of it, the last thing you'll ever hear about FSP.

Now, for some Sudoku, my current study buddy.

Run

Here's how we spent our Fri evening/early Sat morning. Completing our last assignment of the year: Computing. I went to bed before it was even done.

I'll miss everyone loads. :(

I saw a clown

Had loads of fun at the Royal Hobart Show today. We arrived in Glenorchy about 1130 and wasted our first hour queueing up at the ATM. But after that, it was all good. Had another dose of ice-cream, AGAIN. Gosh, this is unhealthy. I went for my first ride on the sky-walker! Thanks those who kept persuading me to go.

Well, half the time, I kept my eyes closed cos I was too scared. =.= Each time I opened my eyes, I screamed and felt like throwing up. I remember clenching on really tightly to the rail, especially the part when we were all flipped over to the other side. I didn't scream as much though cos I was too pre-occupied with thoughts like 'When are we getting down?', 'Is this thing gonna break?' and 'OMGosh I'm spinning the view's making me dizzy', when I opened my eyes.

Considering I get airsick really easily and am slighty acrophobic, I had great fun. If I could, I'd do it again. :) This time, I'll make sure that I open my eyes MOST OF THE TIME.

I had a go at the F89 Minimi. This made me wanna be in the army. Gosh, I'm insane. I keep changing my mind. And no way will I fit in the army. There were a number of vintage cars on display, something my dear brother would enjoy. We walked 3 km back to the hostel, a good reason to burn off the fat. :P

The UV index was high today. Guess that explains my slightly rosier cheeks. My hands are now a lil darker than my arms. And Mr Sun has decided to trace out the shape of my watch on my wrist.

Feeling really worn out at the moment. Must be because of all the fun we had.

Hear the birds chirping

Here's a really early morning post. It's 7:33 am and I'm already behind the computer. :)

Just had my last test of the year yesterday. I think I screwed up some of the questions. Grr. Careless me. One more assignment (computing) and that's it! Two more days of Uni and it's study leave for us. Needa add more oil. T__T

Took this using Ronan's phone. I know it doesn't look as good as it
was, but I liked how the clouds looked. :)

Sleep

Stayed up till 2 am just to complete my Bio Prac book (had 4 hours of sleep). I intentionally left it till the last day for final touch-ups cos I know I'd have dwelled on it if I started earlier. But how unfortunate that our Bio lecturer couldn't make it to class today. So yeah, it's still with me. Hope she and whoever it is, are fine. :

I guess we could say that deprivation of sleep does adversely affect us. Take me, for instance. 3 interesting events happened today.

1) Had a lil chat with Ali early in the morning, while finishing up the prac book. Wanted to wish him luck for his Physics essay... but what turned out was 'good the bio'.

2) Went for a morning shower, and nearly rubbed body wash onto my forehead. Thank God for my conscience, I stopped 3 seconds later, thinking, 'Wait, this isn't right'.

3) And I commented on the wrong chatbox. Suan thinks I'm senile. How reassuring.

Hope this doesn't happen during the Exam period. Can't afford to be blur.

Despite the rainy weather this morning/afternoon, we had ice-cream for lunch. Crazy, eh? But guess what? It's super sunny now. T__T

Happy 10/10/10

I hate the feeling that I'm being used. Sometimes, it's just that hard to reject. If only I had a lil more of self-centredness to say 'No'.

For Pete's sake, grow up! No, not me. You. But who am I to tell you to grow up? That's right. No one.

So much on my mind right now. With and essay due tomorrow and exams just around the corner, what could me much worse than having countless pimples popping up on your face?

I don't get it. I've been drinking lotsa water and it doesn't seem to work. Grr... why do pimple creams cost so much?

And the Internet hadn't been working well for me yesterday. Pretty fed up with the fact that my life is gradually becoming dependent on it. But how can anyone do anything without the Internet? :'(

But then again, bad Internet connection = more time to study.

Anyway, one tutorial discussion down, 3 more tests, one oral presentation and another Maths assignment and it's THE EXAM time.

Please, God, help me.

Tsk tsk

Pretty relaxing day. Nice temperature (around 2o degrees)+ light Chem revision. Ali brought his Mac so... here are some (of the many) pix taken to brighten your day.

Here's us attempting to pull sad faces. I look as though someone had just told me "No more PB&J toast for you!"
'The scream'!

Oh yeah. Epic much.

Hope this didn't give you a headache.

Spectacle-less (except for Suan). :)

Final shot.
Now, if only every class was this exciting!

Thanks Ali for the pics.
